By Via Mazzini

This all natural honey lemon mask is great for all skin types including sensitive skin. Lighten your skin with this simple yet effective home remedy. (Source : Nikisha)

Benefits of the Honey Lemon Mask:

- Clears acne
- Gentle cleansing agent
- Dries out pimple
- Minimizes pore size
- Smooths skin
- Reduces redness and instantly soothes irritation
- Makes skin glow
- Relieves dryness and even flaking
- Honey is a humectant so it hydrates skin
- Brightens skin
- Evens out skin tone (due to sun damage or blemishes) and helps scarring
- The bacteria cannot live in an environment covered in honey; due to honeys antiseptic qualities

Ingredients:

- 1/2 of a real lemon or a few drops of lemon oil (it has the same effect)
- 1 teaspoons of honey (Manuka honey has higher antibacterial properties, but regular honey is fine too).

Directions:

Squeeze 1/2 of the lemon into a bowl(about 2tsp), mix in honey and stir until its like cough syrup. Apply mask to freshly cleansed face. Make sure you don’t exfoliate your skin before adding this mask because the lemon juice can make it sting. Let the mask sit for about 20 minutes, and try not to talk. Rinse off with cold water (helps close pores) and pat dry your face. You can do this every morning or every night. Apply a good moisturizer afterwards. Give it some time to see results.

One of the biggest trend this summer? Florals! So we thought how about rose trimmed glasses? Inspired by the widespread floral trend and our love of Dolce & Gabbana's Baroque-inspired fall collection, we’re DIY'ing a pair of outrageously fabulous sunglasses (via HonestlyWTF) using the little ceramic roses.  Even if you hate anything floral, you'll find it quite hard to resist a pair of these cool floral shades. Bet you thought these cute little flowers on these adorable glasses were real.

What You’ll Need:

  • A pair of sunglasses
  • Ceramic roses and flowers
  • Disposable container or ice cream stick and toothpicks
  • Cotton buds
  • Good quality and quick drying glue

Make sure your sunnies are clean – this is what the cotton bud's for. Play around with sections and placements to decide how you want your design to be.  Squeeze a small amount of glue into a disposable container or onto a wooden popsicle stick. Using the tip of a toothpick, apply a dollop of glue onto the back of the largest ceramic flower.

Press the flower firmly onto the outer corner of the sunglasses. Hold it in place, for at least a minute, until the glue sets. Working along the top of the glasses, continue to add smaller flowers.

Add a few small flowers down the right side of the glasses. After most of the flowers have set, unfold the sunglasses and add a couple of larger flowers on the temples or arms.

Repeat on the other side and let it sit for an hour or so to dry.
