Jeepers peepers! Your floral shades are ready to wear! Enjoy the look and the compliments...
One of the biggest trend this summer? Florals! So we thought how about rose trimmed
glasses? Inspired by the widespread floral trend and our love of Dolce & Gabbana's Baroque-inspired fall collection, we’re
DIY'ing a pair of outrageously fabulous sunglasses (via HonestlyWTF) using the little ceramic roses. Even if you hate anything floral, you'll find it quite hard to resist a pair of these cool floral shades. With these shades you won’t go unnoticed in this summer!
Our Inspiration :
What You’ll Need:
- A pair of sunglasses
- Ceramic roses and flowers
- Disposable container or ice cream stick and toothpicks
- Cotton buds
- Good quality and quick drying glue
Make sure your sunnies are clean – this is what the cotton bud's for. Play around with sections and placements to decide how you want your design to be. Squeeze a small amount of
glue into a disposable container or onto a wooden popsicle stick. Using the tip of a toothpick, apply a dollop of glue onto
the back of the largest ceramic flower.
Press the flower firmly onto the outer
corner of the sunglasses. Hold it in place, for at least a minute,
until the glue sets. Working along the top of the glasses, continue
to add smaller flowers.
Add a few small flowers down the right
side of the glasses. After most of the flowers have set, unfold the
sunglasses and add a couple of larger flowers on the temples or arms.
Repeat on the other side and let it sit for an hour or so to dry.
